At the “Well Being for Being Foundation,” our story is one of unwavering commitment and boundless compassion. For over 15 years, we have been the silent heroes of the animal kingdom in Surat, India, driven by our founders, the remarkable mother-daughter duo, Shobha and Sweety Sand.
Our journey began with a simple act of kindness – feeding stray dogs in the streets of Parle Point, Vesu, Adajan, Piplod, Citylight, Ghod Dod Road, Athwalines, and beyond. Soon, our work became a beacon of hope, touching every corner of the city. Our daily ritual of providing nourishing meals to animals in need has evolved into a mission encompassing comprehensive medical care, a neutering program, and safety measures for street dogs.
However, our commitment goes beyond basic necessities. Our love extends to all creatures, from cats to birds, and even cows. We’ve facilitated the neutering of hundreds of dogs, equipped street dogs with safety measures, and helped find forever homes for countless animals.
“We give food to any animals who require it, but our hearts are most deeply connected to the dogs and cats on the streets.”
This journey has not been without challenges, but our love for animals remains unshaken. We provide sustenance to any animal in need, with a special focus on the often-overlooked but deeply vulnerable street dogs and cats. Beyond daily meals, we respond to distress calls from Sachin to Varachha, offering comprehensive care to those paralyzed, injured, or in distress. We leave no stone unturned, even if it means transporting animals to Navsari for specialized treatment.
The “Well Being for Being Foundation” is not just an organization; it’s a testament to the power of love and the impact a dedicated community can make. Together with compassionate individuals, we continue to write a story of compassion, one pawprint at a time. Join us in this beautiful journey where love, in its purest form, is the driving force behind every life we touch.
